Branden Hill is the Brass Caption Head of The Cadets Drum & Bugle Corps. He is a graduate of Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX, where he received a Masters in Instrumental Conducting. He received his Bachelors degree from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN, where he studied instrumental music education and conducting. A native of Murfreesboro, TN, Branden has worked with high school programs across the United States as both a clinician and designer. Before graduate school, he was the Director of Bands at Kempner High School in Sugar Land, TX and the assistant band director in Waller ISD and Fort Bend ISD.
As a performer, Branden served as Drum Major of the MTSU Band of Blue for four years and was a trumpet player in the 2005 Madison Scouts horn line. Branden has also served on the brass staff of the Glassmen Drum and Bugle Corps and The Cavalier Drum and Bugle Corps. His professional affiliations include Tennessee Music Educators Association, Texas Music Educators Association, Phi Mu Alpha and the National Association for Music Education.
